Pastor John experienced an urgent press and mandate to build a ministry for the Lord; thus New Testament World Outreach was established. From its humble beginnings in 1999 there was an anointing for change in peoples lives. 

New Testament started with its Pastors, four ladies and a few small children. Although planting a new ministry in Toledo, OH came with its challenges; the hand of the Lord was evident from the first day. People would begin to flock to the Radisson Hotel for its weekly “Monday Night Live.”

 

Throughout the existence of New Testament many have come to know the Lord, many have been healed and challenged to be more for God. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
 

New Testament is a spirit-filled, Bible-based ministry that focuses on “kingdom building.” New Testament is an energetic, active, relevant and progressive ministry. During the services, it is a guarantee you will experience heavenly praise and worship and hear a “NOW WORD” that will propel you into greatness.

In September 2008, New Testament World Outreach changed its name to "RIVER OF LIFE CHURCH" based upon Rev. 22:1-5 "And he showed me a pure river of life," and John 10:10 "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
